About IIT JAM
The Joint Admission Test for Masters in IIT is known as JAM.
The aim of the Gyan Bindu Academy is to build a sound foundation of knowledge, pursue excellence and enhance creativity in an intellectually stimulating environment. The current pace of advancement of technology needs a coherent backup of basic science education and research. The vibrant academic ambiance and research infrastructure of Gyan Bindu Academy motivate the students to pursue careers in Research & Development in frontier areas of basic sciences as well as interdisciplinary areas of science and technology. Further, Gyan Bindu Academy has done a lot for students to qualify for JAM.
What is new in JAM 2024 Test?
For the academic year 2024-2024, IIT-INDORE also introduced M.Sc. in Biotech, IISER PUNE will admit students in their Integrated Ph.D. Programs in Chemical and Physical Sciences through JAM 2024.
Application Forms will NOT be sold through Banks.
Applications will be accepted only through Online Process.
CA and GP Test Papers have been discontinued.
Eligibility for IIT JAM
The candidates must have passed the Bachelors degree in the subject concerned or related subjects, in which they are seeking admission.
JAM qualified candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for admissions in IITs:
Candidates must have secured at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries in all years combined) in the qualifying degree.
There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the case of SC/ST/PD category candidates.
